Regardless of the nature of a proposed Event, an Event Proposal Form must be submitted to the Events Co-Ordinator.
Events are typically proposed by the Events Co-Ordinator and / or the Social Club. However, any resident is welcome to propose an Event.
To allow the HOAC sufficient time to review a proposal against currently scheduled or proposed events and the Event’s likelihood of strong patronage, an Event Proposal Form must be submitted to the Events Co-Ordinator – no less that 1 month prior to the proposed date of the Event.
The Event Proposal Form should include all projected expenses and expected income, explain the nature of the Event, the format of the Event, a preferred date and time for the Event and whether or not the Event will raise funds for donation to an Australian Taxation Office endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) charity.
If HOAC funding is required, or the HOAC is asked to fully underwrite the Event, the Events Co-Ordinator (Geoff Symons) will present the proposal at a meeting of the HOAC to secure funding for the projected expenses and approval of any suggested donation to a DGR.
If you’re ready to submit a proposal, click the blue ‘Event Proposal Form‘ button below.
Once you have completed the proposal form and submitted it, an email will be sent automatically to events@gemlifewoodend.com
If you have any additional information that you need to include with your proposal, please forward it separately – to Geoff Symons (events@gemlifewoodend.com)
