Did You Know – Veranda Umbrellas

The veranda umbrellas have a crank that can be used to:

• Raise the base to engage wheels that allow the umbrella to be moved around.
• Engage the column to allow the umbrella to be swivelled around.
• Open up the umbrella.

Please remember to close the umbrella and return it to its original positon when you are finished.

Did You Know - Veranda Heaters

The switch for the Veranda heates are located on the column adjacent to the hot/cold water tap on the bar.
It is a two step process to turn the heaters on / off.

• Touch the switch to activate the menu screen.
• Click the lower right hand button to select the next screen. Then, click the top right hand button to switch the heaters on.

Do not forget to reverse the process to turn the heaters off when you are done.

Did You Know – Gemlife Bus

Gemlife has a bus that can be used by homeowners only for outings. The bus holds a maximum of 12 people including driver, and minimum of 6 persons is required to book the bus. Bus bookings can be made in a book located in the Club House notification area. You must make a booking in the book provided and fill out a form that lists the purpose of the outing and all persons traveling. The bus key is available from the on site manager. All you need is a current driver’s licence, a record of the start and finish milage, and a full diesel fuel tank on your return.

Did You Know – Woodend FlexiBus

The Woodend Flexibus service will pick up and drop off homeowners from the Gemlife front gate. The service operates from 8:15 to 4:15 Monday and Friday (excluding public holidays) and you can book a pickup time by calling 03 54221634.

Did You know – Apple TV, Kayo, Stan and YouTube Premium

The HOAC has provided the AppleTV+, Kayo, Stan Premium (+ Stan Sport) and YouTube Premium streaming services in the main areas of the clubhouse.

These services provide access to a wide range of movies, music videos and sport and are available at various locations throughout the club house.

ONLY Kayo, Stan Premium (+Stan Sport) and YouTube Premium are available on the Bar Lounge, Northern Lounge and Games Room TVs.

Apple TV+ is ONLY available in the Cinema and on the Bar Lounge TV.

Did you know – Foxtel?

The HOC has subscribed to Foxtel (including Foxtel sports) in the clubhouse. It is available on the main lounge TV, the Cinema and one of the game room TVs. You can watch programs live or use the record function to watch at a later time if you wish. To recrd a show, simply press the home button on the remote, select program guide, highlight the show you want to record and press the record. When you are ready to watch the program select the home button, and go to recorded programs. Select your program and press ok. Once you have watched your program please remember to delete it.

Gemlife Woodend Residents Facebook Groups

Simply log in to your Facebook account and search for ‘’GemLife Woodend Residents” or "GemLife Woodend Events and Activities" to find the relevant group. To join either group you will need to provide your name and villa number.
